Evangelisim in the heart of Belfast

New Lodge

A wonderful opportunity has open up for us to come into the New lodge area of Belfast. The community have welcome us into their area and we are grateful. We are looking forward to going in and sharing the wonderful gospel of Jesus and his love with this community, especially those that a trapped in bondage.

Red light district

Last year we launched this outreach to women trapped in prostitution, and so it is that we thank God for the women our team has met. The women range in age but with all the same need, Jesus to come in and set them free. Please pray for these women.

Utility street

Friday night outreach to the men at Utility street Hostel continues. On a Friday night the men continue to come on to the bus, some times new men, sometimes the same men. The men at this hostel love the last 20 mins of the evening where the guitar comes out and we begin to worship God. And sometimes at the end we get a chance to pray with them. Pray that God would move and set them free in 2011.

Simon Community Hostel, Forestside

Saturday night continues to be a great night of outreach.

There are so many individual people in this hostel that have touched our lives. Please continue to pray God would set free those we meet.

The Jesus Bus reaching and sharing at  Forestside Simon Community Hostel

On Saturday nights we continue to take the bus to Forestside Simon Community Hostel. We have gained the trust and come to know and love the men & women who are here, often due to heartbreaking circumstances from a very early age in life which have led them into a lifestyle of alcohol & drug misuse.

The bus provides a great opportunity to reach out, to listen to their problems and needs, to show the love of Christ, to distribute Bibles and to pray with those in desperate need.  We are grateful that we have been given the opportunity to sow seed in broken lives and thank God that in the midst of the darkness of sin, confusion, pain, hurt, rejection and fear that these precious souls can come on the ‘Jesus bus’, as its been fondly called, on a Saturday night and sense the wonderful peace and love of Christ and learn of His mercy and grace which is offered to those who will respond to His calling. We do all in His strength and for His glory.
